Founded in 1823 in France, Braquenie' boasts among its first clients the King of France Louis-Philippe I, Napoleon III, the Rothschilds and the Vatican.

Examples of the most iconic designs are preserved at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
