This wallcovering is inspired by a fabric made from the bark of fig trees, inset with small pieces of rattan. The design takes its name and inspiration from the charming Kailua on the east side of Oahu, where palm trees reign supreme. For this wallpaper, swaying palms were inset using small pieces of rattan on a background of barkcloth, a fibrous fabric made from the bark of fig trees. This beautiful, realistic interpretation comes to life when transposed onto the wall.
