The collection Compagnie des Indes by Braquenie' has an exotic spirit that encompasses all the themes of the decorative arts of the 18th century. Pineapples, exotic flowers and chinoiserie have been an attraction since the 16th century when European explorers brought home decorative objects and unknown fruit discovered on their journeys east.
Le Paravent Chinois is inspired by the motif of a Chinese screen that belonged to the famous American designer John Derian.
