This wall covering is inspired by a fabric made from the bark of fig trees, embedded with small pieces of rattan. The design takes its name and inspiration from lovely Kailua on the east side of Oahu, where palm trees reign supreme. For this wallpaper, swinging palm trees were set using small pieces of rattan onto a background of barkcloth, a fibrous fabric made from the bark of fig trees. This beautiful and realistic interpretation comes to life when transposed onto the wall.
